Overlooking the rail storage and the San Francisco Bay, “Blueprints” consists of two curtain walls, comprised of 21 individual insulated glass unit. Dubbed as the Rose Window of Chartres Cathedral, the image of the giant wheel embedded in the window is a detail of the rail car mechanical engineering drawing of the industrial era of the last century from the Muni archives which dates back100 years old.
