Emily Leonardo

EMILY LEONARDO is a PhD candidate specializing in postwar Europe, with a specific focus on artistic exchange between France and the United States in the 1960s and 70s. Her dissertation, “Interventions into the Geographic,” considers the themes of nature and displacement in relation to the site-specific work of Yves Klein, Ben Vautier, and Noël Dolla. General areas of interest include collective practices, public art, and the phenomenology of place. She is an art advisor based in New York.
