terra-cotta clay, seashells, concrete

Students, children, and local community members participated in the creation of the Bare Foot sculpture. The footprint, modeled after the sole of Nagasawa’s foot, maps the healing acupressure points on the human body and actually stimulates the very same for those who walk bare foot over the top of the sculpture by virtue of its highly textured surface.
