Woven optical fiber, stainless steel, aluminum, LED illuminators, electronics

Hues of blue and white light cascade down the optical fiber tapestry, pulsing to the programmed sounds of the Hudson River. The words from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jrʼs 1963 “I Have a Dream” speech, “We are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream” are converted to blue and white light and united with the pulsing cascade. Dr. Kingʼs words become a “mighty stream” of light, metaphorically inspiring the cause of social justice.
